A telemedicine portal for medical-cannabis therapy in Germany — patients, doctors and pharmacies connected from first request to e-signed prescription.
Cannaleo GmbH builds software for medical-cannabis therapy in Germany. The Cannaleo Portal brings patients, doctors, practices and pharmacies into one regulated flow: a patient submits a therapy request and questionnaire, books a doctor, joins a video consultation and receives a prescription that is sent to a pharmacy that has the medicine in stock.
We built the portal as three Next.js apps — patient, doctor and admin — on a Kotlin and Spring Boot API with PostgreSQL and PostGIS. It handles appointments and availability, repeat-prescription requests, pharmacy stock search, qualified electronic signatures, video consultations, payments and transactional email, with document storage on S3.
